Pastor Aloysius Bugingo… On Sunday, he came out and revealed — and also asked Pastor Wilson Bugembe — a tough question: "You have attended their gatherings many times, but have you ever seen them at your 20-year celebration?" — Pastor Bugingo. He added that on 31st December, Pastor Bugembe first sings at their fields, and only later goes to his own place in Nansana. He said none of them came to support Wilson at his concert. I want to remind the children of God that no stage or ground where Pastor Bugembe sings is free. On 31st December, most singers are working for money; no one sings for free unless they are famous. For Pastor Bugembe, even for crusades where he sings, they first pay him to the last coin. So, when he performs in Nansana on December 31st, he is still doing business, not ministry. Let’s separate these things. The “20 years of Pastor Wilson Bugembe” at Serena Hotel was mostly, to me, just a performance — not ministry. I want us to agree or disagree tha...

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has extended a warm invitation to Nigerians, urging skilled professionals, entrepreneurs, and innovators to consider bringing their talents to the United Kingdom. Speaking during a recent engagement focused on strengthening UK–Nigeria relations, Khan emphasised that London’s growth and diversity have long been driven by global talent, with Nigerians playing a vital role in the city’s economy, culture, and innovation sectors. “The UK needs your talent,” Khan said. “London is a global hub for opportunity, and we welcome the skills, creativity, and ambition that Nigerians bring. Whether in tech, finance, healthcare, or the arts, there is a place for you here.” Khan’s remarks come as the UK continues to face labour shortages in key industries, prompting calls for attracting highly skilled migrants. His comments also reflect a push to deepen cultural and economic ties with Nigeria, which has one of the largest diaspora communities in London. The mayor assured tha...

Actor and singer Tyrese Gibson is facing possible jail time after failing to pay nearly $500,000 in legal fees owed to his ex-wife Samantha Lee Gibson’s attorneys. According to court filings, Samantha’s legal team has requested that the court hold Gibson in criminal contempt for repeatedly ignoring court orders to settle the debt. They are seeking a sentence of up to 20 days in jail if he does not comply. The unpaid amount—originally set by the court—has reportedly grown with accumulated interest after months of nonpayment. Despite multiple deadlines, Gibson has not fulfilled his obligations, prompting renewed legal action. The court has yet to announce a ruling on the contempt request, but legal experts suggest that a jail sentence remains a possibility if Gibson continues to defy the payment order.
